One of the results of the advancement of modern society is that the wisdom traditions of many ancient and indigenous peoples have been seen as having little or no ongoing relevance and value. Much of the knowledge that has been preserved and carefully handed down within communities over the centuries has, within a few short decades, become threatened with being lost forever. Sacred sites remain unprotected and the cultural heritage that our ancestors considered so important is now in danger of dying with the last of the wisdom holders in each society.
The Wisdom of the Ancients attraction aims to demonstrate the wealth of knowledge and understanding lying behind these traditions and to show how many of the underlying principles remain highly relevant to us today.
